Work Experience
Sr. Solution Architect - AA ART
As an Architect in Advanced Analytics (AA) ART, I work with data scientists, machine learning engineers, data engineers, and developers in constructing, scaling, and continuously improving our advanced analytics capabilities and platforms. I bring established disciplines from software engineering into model engineering to enhance our model development and operations. I also provide strategic alignment with business architecture, enterprise architecture, and IT security.
- Asset Monitoring with Industrial IoT
- Advanced Analytics Models on Azure Kubernetes Services
- Experimentation and Exploration with Databricks
Sr. Solution Architect - BA ART
As an Architect in the Business Applications (BA) ART, I delivered the architecture and design for Ørsted’s cloud-first data collection platform. This platform is designed to capture, harmonize, transport, and expose measurements from various OPC, SCADA, and IIoT systems. It represents the first security-compliant design to achieve the convergence of OT and IT systems using cloud technologies and services.
- Azure Kubernetes Services in OT and IT
Sr. Solution Architect - D3A
As an Architect in the Data As An Asset (D3A) program, I lead the detailed solution architecture and constructed a reliable and high-performing applications for monitoring wind turbine alarms, power production calculation, outage categorization, and farm yield reporting. The platform laid the foundation for the development of Ørsted’s first Reporting Data Warehouse and Azure-based Data Lake.
- Wind Park Unified Alarms Data
- Wind Park Unified Scientific Data
- Wind Turbine Outage Tracking Data
- Wind Turbine Outage Categorization Data
- Wind Turbine Lost Production Measurements Data
Solution Architect - DSS
As Architect in Domain and Shared Services (DSS), I lead team of developers accross Denmark and Malaysia to build systems for monitoring and management of Power Distribution Grid in Denmark.
- Grid Outage Notification Services
- Meter Exchange Image Data Store
Sr. Software Engineer
The Power Hub Initiative is a research and development project at DONG Energy (now Orsted) that complement our Smart Grid systems in balancing the state power grid through massive amount of decentralized production and consumption units like cold storage, greenhouses, waste water treatment, wind farms, power plants, and district heating network. PowerHub is 1 of 6 projects at TWENTIES FP7 (EC-GA 249812), the largest European Union funded research and demonstration project at the time. The program promised to integrate large volumes of renewable energy into grids by 2020.
- Demonstration package for European Commission at Faroe Islands
- Production model for Combined Heat and Power Plant (CHP)
- Integration to DK & UK Transmission System Operator (TSO) and flexibility energy market
Sr. Software Engineer
Worked with research and development teams on developing commercial products for fast fashion industry. Constructed production and assortment planning system for Fast-Fashion companies enabling very short lead time from design to release of new collections to market.
Startup Founder
Founded and lead the development and commercial release of Multishop Storefront. Performed continuous architectural assessments of latest technologies and how to achieve market superiority. Worked with developers, graphics designers, search optimization engineers and content writers for porfolio projects in Denmark.
Sr. Software Engineer
Lead the migration of a library information and management product from VB6 into .NET 2.0/ASP.NET platform. Worked on commercial rollout on at least 5 major universities in the Philippines including Ateneo University, Every Nation Leadership Institute, St. Joseph, and Fatima University.
Projects
yuniql.io
yuniql (yuu-nee-kel) is a free and open source schema versioning and database migration engine made natively with .NET Core. Use plain SQL scripts, bulk import CSV, integrate CI/CD pipelines, zero runtime dependencies and works with windows and linux. Supports SqlServer, PostgreSql, MySql, MariaDB, Snowflake, and Amazon Redshift. Visit www.yuniql.io.
arnis.net
Arnis.NET is a no-brainer dependency tracker for .NET applications using elementary parsing algorithm. By consistently monitoring the technology stack in our application portfolio, we can better plan for component upgrades, monitor 3rd party usage, consolidate component versions, or strategize decommissioning of projects and tools.
